Born and raised oceanside in Gibson’s BC, then moving to the Westend of Vancouver Deb is drawn to the ocean and nature – she is a true outdoor enthusiast (hiking, biking, kayaking) – every project Deb works on she brings touches of nature inside for their grounding therapeutic elements.
Attending university in Europe, Deb double majored in History and English Literature with minors in Art History and Humanities which has helped her create spaces and design by pulling elements from historical era’s to complete a home.
For Deb, a proud member of the Kamloops community for the past 17 years, community involvement is of utmost importance – designing the foyer for the Pink Ribbon Ball (insert link) and the outside area of the Furball (insert link) have been two highlights of her career with Portfolio.
Every person is different. Every budget is different. “I help people realize the design vision they didn’t know they had. I love mixing colors and patters, playing with sightlines and focal points. For me, designing comes naturally and effortlessly”
Outside of design, Deb is a lover of travel, food and family.
